KHAT Data Deletion
KHAT is operated by ALSHAYA Technologies LLC.
KHAT users can request deletion of their KHAT account and associated data. You can use this page to request deletion even if you no longer have access to the KHAT app.
1. How to request deletion
Email khat@alshayatech.com with subject: KHAT Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- account email
- order reference if relevant
- confirmation that you want account deletion
2. What will be deleted
- KHAT account profile
- account identifiers
- support profile linked to the account where applicable
- app account data associated with the account
- optional marketing preferences
- other personal data associated with the KHAT account where deletion is not legally restricted
3. What may be retained
Some records may be retained only where necessary for legal, tax/accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute, chargeback/refund, compliance, or completed transaction record purposes.
4. Processing time
KHAT will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable period, and may ask for verification before completing the request.
5. In-app deletion path
When account features are available in the KHAT app, users may also be able to initiate account deletion from account settings.
