KHAT Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of KHAT, a digital connectivity product operated by ALSHAYA Technologies LLC.
1. Acceptance of terms
Using KHAT means the user agrees to the Terms.
2. About KHAT
KHAT provides access to travel eSIM plans and related support, organized around destinations, coverage, activation, and account support.
3. Eligibility
Users must be able to enter into a binding agreement and comply with local laws.
4. Device compatibility
Users are responsible for ensuring their device supports eSIM and is unlocked where required. Compatibility may vary by device, operating system, carrier restrictions, and destination. KHAT may provide guidance, but users should verify device compatibility before purchase.
5. Plan information and coverage
Plan details, coverage, validity, data allowance, speed, availability, and activation rules may vary by destination and plan. Coverage maps/details are informational and may vary due to network availability, roaming arrangements, device settings, terrain, congestion, maintenance, or local conditions. KHAT does not guarantee uninterrupted or universal coverage.
6. Activation and installation
Users must follow activation and installation instructions carefully. Some plans may start validity at purchase, installation, first network connection, or other plan-specific trigger. Users are responsible for installing the correct plan on the correct device. Deleting an eSIM from a device may prevent further use, depending on plan/provider rules.
7. Accounts
Some KHAT features may require an account. Users are responsible for accurate information and account security. Users should contact support if they suspect unauthorized access.
8. Purchases, payments, and receipts
Prices, currencies, taxes, and fees may vary. Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. KHAT may provide receipts or order confirmations.
9. Refunds and cancellations
Refund eligibility depends on plan status, activation status, usage, technical issues, and applicable law. Some eSIM plans may be non-refundable after activation, installation, use, or issuance. Users should contact KHAT Support for refund or order issues.
10. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, resell plans unless authorized, attempt fraud, abuse, reverse engineering, or unauthorized access, violate laws or network rules, or use the service for unlawful activity.
11. Service availability
KHAT may change, suspend, or limit services when necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, partner/network issues, or operational reasons.
12. No emergency services
KHAT eSIM plans are intended for mobile data connectivity and may not support calls, SMS, emergency calls, or local emergency services unless explicitly stated for a specific plan. Users should not rely on KHAT as their only method for emergency communication.
13. Third-party services
KHAT may rely on third-party platforms, app stores, payment processors, connectivity partners, and service providers.
14. Intellectual property
KHAT, ALSHAYA Technologies, logos, website, app design, and content are owned by or licensed to ALSHAYA Technologies LLC.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALSHAYA Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by factors outside its reasonable control.
16. Changes to Terms
Terms may be updated, with the "Last updated" date changed accordingly.
